You may have noticed fewer due‑date reminders lately—and that’s no accident.
The library has introduced automatic renewals for eligible physical materials as part of a Libraries in Niagara Cooperative (LiNC)–wide initiative.
Items now renew automatically shortly before they’re due, as long as standard conditions are met. Materials won’t renew if they’ve reached renewal limits, have a hold, or if an account is blocked.
Loan periods and borrowing rules haven’t changed, but auto‑renewals help prevent unintentional overdues, support fair access to shared LiNC collections, and make borrowing more convenient—all happening quietly behind the shelves.
