Donations

Your gift builds more than a library.

Niagara-on-the-Lake Public Library is more than a building that houses books; it is a space - both physical and online - where everyone in our community is welcome to engage in learning, enrich their family and attend cultural offerings. We are a vital part of Canadian society and a valuable community resource. Library Programs, supported by donations, are changing lives, especially for our children and seniors. With gifts from generous people like you, we can continue to ignite innovation, enhance public programs and fund new ideas that make a difference in the lives of all who use the Niagara-on-the-Lake Public Library.

Book Donations

Share the joy of reading by honouring someone special.

Read It Forward is a powerful way to give back, enrich the library’s collection, and inspire your community through the gift of storytelling.

With a minimum donation of $30, the library will place a personalized bookplate in a new title from our collection, creating a lasting tribute while enriching our shelves for the whole community. You can choose a subject area that reflects the person being honoured, such as Canadian fiction, home & garden, history, science & technology, sports, or art.

The Trisha Romance Children's Art Fund

Trisha Romance is dedicated to sharing the joy of art with children. Before a child can speak, they can draw and paint. In all of Trisha's works, children are the focal point. Her love of children, their innocence, their creativity is what makes her work come alive and that is what has driven her and her family to create The Trisha Romance Children's Art Fund. The goal of the fund is to ensure that children in the community are given the opportunity to share their creativity and become the next great artists of the future. The library is honoured that Trisha Romance has entrusted us with the opportunity to provide exceptional art programming through the the fund. This initiative supports our mission to be a welcoming space where children of all ages and teens can learn, discover, create, and connect. Guided by a skilled art educator, the program provides our community’s children with the chance to explore their creative potential and express themselves through art.
