Ontario 211 is a free helpline that connects you to community and social services in your area 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, in over 150 languages.

Pathstone Mental Health

Pathstone Mental Health strengthens the quality of life for children, youth and families who are dealing with mental health challenges.

COAST

The Niagara Regional Police Service Crisis Outreach and Support Team (COAST) provide outreach and support to Niagara residents who are in crisis with mental health issues. The team is comprised of health care professionals and Niagara Regional Police Officers who are trained in mental health and crisis intervention. This initiative is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and by the Local Health Integrated Network. The COAST Unit has been operational since November 2011 and has 2 plain clothes police officers currently assigned to the unit.

FACS

Family and Children’s Services offers a wide array of community programs and resources open to everyone in the community. Opportunities for arts and crafts, story time and valuable learning activities such as infant massage, school readiness, child care, developmental screening and more are available – usually at no or minimal cost, or a subsidized fee.

Early ON

EarlyON centres offer free drop-in programs for caregivers and children from birth to 6 years old. You can learn and play with your child, meet people or get advice.

Rainbow Niagara provides services to individuals of sexually and gender diverse communities. Information, support, and resources are provided to individuals, families, and the community. This program was delivered by Niagara Pride support Services Inc., until 2011 when Quest CHC began to oversee the program. Programming includes individual support for clients throughout the Niagara Region, health promotion initiatives such as Pride Prom and our Pride Halloween Dance, as well as community presentations.
